On 21 August 2025, WeTrade took its first step into the world of Paris Saint-Germain with a memorable signing ceremony in Paris. More than just formalities, the day offered an inside look at the people, stories and spirit behind the club and marked the start of an exciting new journey together.
A Warm Welcome to Start the Partnership
The day began with a warm welcome at Parc des Princes, where our CEO, George Miltiadou, and Paris Saint-Germain’s Chief Revenue Officer, Richard Heaselgrave, addressed the room and reflected on the core values that brought both organisations together: ambition, innovation and a shared pursuit of excellence. Their words set the tone for what promises to be a partnership built on shared vision and passion.
The signing ceremony followed shortly after and was a proud moment for everyone in attendance. To symbolise the beginning of this new journey, both parties signed a Paris Saint-Germain jersey which was then framed, representing a future built on respect and mutual recognition.
A Ceremony of Exchange and Symbolic Gifts
To further mark the occasion, a special gift exchange took place.
Paris Saint-Germain presented WeTrade with an exclusive football encased in a collector’s box, while WeTrade reciprocated with a bespoke chess set, crafted to embody strategy and foresight. In addition, WeTrade also offered its special 10th anniversary gold note memorabilia to the club, each piece carrying a message of prosperity and ambition.

After the signing, the WeTrade team headed pitch-side for a special LED display and photo session, where the WeTrade name appeared alongside Paris Saint-Germain inside the stadium for the very first time.
The experience continued with a private tour of Parc des Princes led by club legend Gregory Van Der Wiel, who shared stories from his time on the pitch and offered a unique perspective on what makes Paris Saint-Germain so special. To make the moment even more unforgettable, Gregory hosted an exclusive jersey-signing session for our team, turning keepsakes into treasured memories.

As part of the experience, WeTrade team also sat down for an intimate Q&A session with Gregory Van Der Wiel. He shared stories from his football journey, the challenges that shaped him as a professional and reflected on his time at Paris Saint-Germain.
