A call from the mountains

 

At 2,600 metres above sea level in the mountains of north-eastern Yunnan, children at Budo Primary School walk three hours each day just to get to school. As the autumn wind sets in, their thin clothes can hardly keep out the chill. Those few worn crayons and pencils sitting on their desks are all they have to sketch a world more colourful than the one around them. 

 

 

A Journey of Love and Dreams 

 

On 3 September 2025, just before International Charity Day, WeTrade joined hands with Huiyou Yizhan to bring the “Walking with Love · Growing Through Dreams” initiative to Budo Primary School in Huize County, Qujing City. 

 

 

Together, we provided more than RMB 100,000 worth of support: 368 climate-appropriate uniforms, over 500 books, six sets of smart teaching equipment, as well as basketball hoops, table tennis tables and other cultural and sporting resources. In addition, 20 students received academic funding through the One-to-One Targeted Student Aid Scheme. 

 

 

That day, when the children stepped into their new uniforms and saw basketball hoops standing tall on the playground, their school felt less like a remote outpost in the mountains and more like a place where dreams could quietly take root. 

 

 

Spreading Warmth Beyond Borders 

 

Since 2015, WeTrade has sought to make care travel as widely as commerce. From helping rebuild Zhonghui Hope Primary School in Jishishan County, Gansu; To supporting the Santisuk Foundation in Thailand; To working with UNICEF in the Philippines, we have woven social responsibility into our journey. 

 

 

Over the years, these efforts have supported more than 30 charitable projects and touched the lives of over half a million people.
